A personal story of Angela Aleksovska about her experiences working one year at Iperion – a Deloitte business.
My first year at Iperion – a Deloitte business
Having spent the last few years in research and academia has given me the perks of knowing the beauty of designing new molecules and materials. And as more new life science comes to the fore, there has to be new ways of assessing it. So, as important as it is to create new products that would benefit society, it is equally important to keep up-to-date with the latest safety, efficacy and quality requirements of regulators for those products in the ever-changing healthcare landscape. And this is exactly why I decided to make a new leap in my career and join team Iperion in paving the way to the future of life sciences with safety and efficacy.
As I started my job during the pandemic, I thought that the process of onboarding will be an interesting challenge ahead of me. However, the team of Iperion, in the light of what Iperion actually stands for, digitalization in the pharmaceutical industry, did an implacable job in virtual onboarding, and furthermore in spreading the company culture during the difficult times. Getting acclimatized to the new colleagues, new daily tasks and new workplace culture was a new experience in a new format.
During my first year I was lucky to be a part of both departments of Iperion: Managed Services and Consultancy. I found interesting, challenging and inspiring topics and friendly and passionate people to learn from in both departments. I found an open environment where I felt inspired to broaden my knowledge, encouraged to present my ideas and motivated to continue my personal development and growth. I have always been enthusiastic about growing and developing skills, and being in Iperion has further helped me develop diverse skillset by attending workshops and trainings on Commutation Skills, Project Management, ISO IDMP etc. All of these experiences have helped me to further extend my intellectual capabilities and have helped me shape my profile in new directions.
I felt inspired to broaden my knowledge, encouraged to present my ideas and motivated to continue my personal development and growth.
Another new chapter started earlier this year, when Iperion joined Deloitte. Although I liked working for a smaller company, I definitely see that the old “The more, the merrier” will go a long way. The latest joint meetings and social events proved that there is a good vibe between all of us, that we can learn from each other and that we all have common core values.
Digitalization is taking the pharma and healthcare industry by storm. One of the mountain-top experiences of working for Iperion – (now) a Deloitte business, is noticing the impact that the company makes in the industry and seeing changes in the healthcare landscape towards digital transformation in front of our eyes. It has been a huge honor to be part of that process and Iperion has made that possible for me. I am very grateful for all the knowledge that I have gained, people I have met and tools for personal growth that I’ve equipped myself with during the last year. I cannot wait what is in store for me next.
